Kurnool Fort, Kurnool
Located in the heart of Kurnool & believed to be built by the Raja's of
Vijayanagara. Konda Reddy Buruju was a part ofKumool fort & was used as
a prison.
One revolutionary Konda Reddy attained martydom in this prison. Since then the
place is known as Konda Reddy Buruju.
Other interesting places to see in & around Kumool are the Gol Gumbaz, Church,
Shirdi Sai baba temple and Jagannatha Gutta.

in the district as well as Cuddapah, Anantapur, Chittoor, and Hyderabad. Tourists
