Day 01 Arrive Delhi
On arrival, our representative will meet and assist you at airport and transfer
you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02 Delhi
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0930hrs Full day sightseeing of Delhi.
Delhi
Old Delhi was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the first half of
the 17th century.
The new city Immediately to the south is the British built capital of New
Delhi, a self - conscious attempt to match the imperial grandeur of the
Mughal capital, while post independence Delhi has dramatically accelerated
its suburban expansion.
Places of Interest: India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, Birla
Mandir, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid.
Overnight will be in Delhi.
Day 03 Delhi - Mandawa (263 Km)
1000hrs Breakfast at hotel.
1030hrs Leave for Mandawa.
1630hrs Reach Mandawa and check into your hotel.
Rest of the day is free to relax or to meet the local people.
Car at disposal.
Overnight will be in Mandawa.
Day 04 Mandawa - Jaipur (167 Km)
0800hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0830hrs Sightseeing of Mandawa will include the visit local havelis and forts
in Mandawa.
See this beautiful village of Shekhawati that used to be an important caravanserai
of the
yesteryears. See the many havelis of this quaint little town built
by the rich and the famous merchants of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Then proceed towards Fatehpur to see the splendid havelis of the local merchants
of Shekhawati.
Continue your journey towards Jaipur.
Overnight will be at Jaipur.
Day 05 Jaipur
0630hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0700hrs Leave for Amber Fort to enjoy the elephant ride.
Sightseeing tour of Jaipur will cover
Amber Fort is another famous tourist attraction in Jaipur and was built by
Raja Man Singh in the 16th century. The fort offers magnificent views of the
surrounding area and is a mixture of Mughal and Rajput architecture.
Hawa Mahal is one of the most common and popular tourist attractions in Jaipur.
Jantar Mantar - The observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728.
Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art,
carpets, enamel ware and weapons.
Overnight will be in Jaipur.
Day 06 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
0800hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0830hrs Leave for Agra via Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the capital city of the Mughal emperor Akbar
is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height.
Though the city is in ruins, it is a place to visit if one comes to Agra.
The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish.
Places to visit:
Visit Fatehpur Sikri, a mosque and the shrine of saint Salim Chisti.
Proceed towards Agra and visit the massive Agra Fort. The Agra Fort houses
a number of beautiful monuments inside.
Overnight will be in Agra.
Day 07 Agra
0600hrs Visit Taj Mahal by sunrise. As the Sun rises and its rays kiss the
dome of the Taj Mahal.
0800hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0900hrs Full day Sightseeing of Agra.
Agra
Agra stands on the right bank of river Yamuna. Two great Mughal monarchs,
Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting
second capital of the Mughal Empire.
Places to visit
Visit Sikandara the tomb of the great emperor Akbar.
Later visit the tomb of Itmad ud Daulah the finance minister of the Mughals
and the father of Noor Jehan. It is the first mughal building built out completely
of marble. In many contexts it is referred to being the predecessor of the
Taj Mahal.
Rest of the day is free to move in the local market and shopping.
Overnight will be in Agra.
Day 08 Agra - Gwalior - Orchha (219km)
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0930hrs Leave for Gwalior.
1300hrs Reach Gwalior and visit the fort, Scindia Palace and the tombs of
Ghaus Mohammed and Tansen. Also visit the Gurjari Mahal the palace of the
Gurjar queen Mrignayani today housing an archaeological museum. Also see the
teli ka mandir and the Saas bahu ka mandir inside the fort.
1700hrs Reach Orchha and check into hotel.
Overnight will be in Orchha.
Day 09 Orchha - Khajuraho (272km)
0700hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs Proceed towards Khajuraho via Datia and visit the palace of the Bundela
kings.
Datia and Orchha are two twin cities from the medieval times. In these villages
time has stopped. And you feel the timelessness of this spot. Orchha is a
medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th
and 17th century - which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time.
The river Betwa picturesquely flanks the city.
Places of interest in Orchha:
Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. Closely study the intricacies of the mural
paintings in the Raja Mahal and visit the Laxminarayana Temple.
Continue your journey towards Khajuraho.
Overnight will be in Khajuraho.
Day 10 Khajuraho - Varanasi (by flight)
0700hrs Breakfast at hotel.
0730hrs Check out from hotel and leave for the sightseeing of Khajuraho.
Khajuraho
Khajuraho, once the great Chandela capital, is today a village of about a
few thousand people in the interiors of central India, in Chhatarpur district
of Madhya Pradesh.
Places of interest:
The temples built during the 9th to the 11th centuries by the powerful dynasty
of Chandela rajputs. Visit the eastern and western group of temples.
1400hrs Transfer to airport to catch your flight to Varanasi.
1630hrs Reach Varanasi and you will be transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day is free with car at disposal.
Overnight will be in Varanasi.
Day 11 Varanasi
0500hrs Early in the morning boat ride starts from Dasashwamedh Ghat and ends
at Manikarnika Ghat along the sacred Ganges. Don’t forget to see the
sun rise along the Ganges. See the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Gyanvyapi
kund and the mosque attached to it.
Also worth a visit is the Bharat Mata Mandir (Mother India temple) where you
see the undivided India - Mahatma Gandhi’s Dream.
0900hrs Breakfast at hotel.
1400hrs Visit Sarnath - the sacred Buddhist city where Gautama Buddha
preached his first sermon to his 5 disciples under the bodhi tree.
Today Shop for good quality silk brocades.
Overnight will be in Varanasi.
Day 12 Varanasi - Delhi (by flight)
Today you will be transferred to domestic airport to catch the flight for
Delhi.
On reaching Delhi you will be transfer to the airport to board flight back
home/onward destination with sweet memories of India.
