Places to Visit : Kolkata – Dibrugarh - Khosna - Longding – Passighat - Along – Daporijo - Zero - Itanagar - Bomdila - Tawang - Dirang - Tejpur

Day 01 Arrive Kolkata
On arrival you will be met and transferred by our representative to the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Kolkata and visit the Birla Planetarium and Victoria Memorial. Also drive past and get a glimpse of the Fort Williams, the Howrah Bridge, the Secretariat Building and the Old Court House Street. Overnight will be in Kolkata.

Marbel Palace, Kolkata Travel & TourismDay 02 Kolkata – Dibrugarh by flight
In time transfer to airport to board flight for Dibrugarh. Arrive Dibrugarh and you will be taken to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Dibrugarh – Khonsa
After breakfast drive to Khonsa in Tirap district. The drive here is through fairly dense tropical forest and the road is very adventurous with several bends. Overnight will be at the Circuit house.

Day 04 Khonsa
Full day is free to spend at Khonsa and make excursion to the neighboring tribal villages to get a glimpse of the tribal way of life. The villages here are mostly inhabited by the Nocte tribe which is one of the principal tribe in this part of Arunachal. Overnight will be at the Circuit house.

Day 05 Khonsa – Longding
After breakfast drive to Longding and upon arrival visit several villages. These areas are covered with very dense tropical forests. Overnight will be at the Circuit house.

Day 06 Longding
Proceed for an excursion to the neighboring villages which are inhabited by the Wanchoo tribe. These tribals have their own unique social and cultural systems. Overnight will be at the Longding Circuit house.

Day 07 Longding – Khonsa
After breakfast drive to Khonsa. Passing through dense tropical forest we may see some very rare birds and animals in the surrounding. Overnight will be at the Circuit house.

Day 08 Khonsa – Dibrugarh
After breakfast start your journey from Arunachal Pradesh and head for the town of Dibrugarh in Assam. Overnight will be in Dibrugarh.

Brahmaputra, Dibrugarh Tours & TravelsDay 09 Dibrugarh – Passighat
After breakfast drive to Ghat to take a boat. It takes about 7-8 hrs to cross river Brahmaputra by country made ferry. The river Brahmaputra is the confluence of the Siang and Lohit river of Arunachal Pradesh. The ferry service between Dibrugarh to Passighat is a lifeline for the tribes of Passighat area. Passighat is the oldest town of Arunachal Pradesh established in 1911. Passighat has been often called the 'Gateway of the state of Arunachal Pradesh'. The town derives its name from the 'Pasis', a tribe in this area. Overnight will be at Circuit house.

Day 10 Passighat – Along 120 kms/05 hrs
After breakfast drive to Along which is the headquarter of west Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 300 m inhabitants of Adi (Gallong) tribes. Enroute visit Adi Minyong tribal villages to see village life of Passighat. Adi has different sub tribe which differs from each other like Adhi (Gallong, Miniyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Boker). Also visit Jirdin, Kabu, Kaying villages. It is very interesting to see a hanging bridge on the Siang River. Overnight will be at Circuit House.

Day 11 Along – Daporijo 170 kms/06 hrs
After breakfast visit Adi Gallong tribal villages and then drive to Daporijo which is a beautiful place on the right bank of Subansiri River with picturesque villages and also to see the caves a few kms away & located at an altitude of 600 m is an inhabitant of Tagin tribes. Overnight will be at Circuit House.

Day 12 Daporijo – Ziro 160 kms/06 hrs
After breakfast at Circuit house drive to Ziro enroute visit Hill Miri tribal villages which is covered with dense forest from the high water level of the river Kamla to the top of the highest hills. The Hill Miri villages lie between the altitudes of 914 meters and 1219 meters. It is needless to say that with the ever increasing impact of the outside world, the dress, particularly among the young people, is yielding to new ideas and new fashion in consonance with the march of time. Arrive Ziro and transfer to hotel. Overnight will be in Ziro.

Day 13 Ziro
Full day is free to visit Apatani Tribal villages which occupy a 26 sq. km stretches of valley in the central region of Subansiri at an altitude of (1524 meters) with a population of little over 10,000 souls, concentrated in few crowded villages. The valley lies roughly midway between the Panior and the Kamla rivers. Steep mountain ridges, gaining heights of (2438 meters), enclose the valley on all sides. The most important festivals of this region are the Morong and Myoko ceremonies connected with their agricultural activities. Overnight will be in Ziro.

Budhist Gompa, Itanagar Holiday PackageDay 14 Zero – Itanagar 150Km / 5hrs
Drive to Itanagar the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh with modern settlement built in the vicinity of the ruins of the 14th century fort old capital. The archaeological remains of this medieval capital comprise of two brick wall ramparts. Itanagar has extremely interesting museum known as Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, time spent here can really acquaint you with the culture and tradition of this region. All prototype of the bamboo and cane architecture of dwelling of different tribes and apparel, design and functional tools and others handicrafts are display here. Overnight will be at Itanagar.

Day 15 Itanagar – Bomdila 350 km/ 9hrs
Drive to Bomdila. Upon arrival check into your hotel and relax. Rest of the day is at leisure to relax. Overnight will be at Bomdila.

Day 16 Bomdila – Tawang 190 Km / 7hrs drive
After breakfast drive to Tawang - the major center of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world's second highest pass - the Sela Pass (14000 feet) which runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. Overnight will be at Tawang.

Day 17 Tawang
Proceed for a visit to the famous Tawang Monastery - Birth place of 6th Dalai Lama. The monastery houses over 500 lamas of Reformed sect of Mahayana Buddhist Monks. Also see a 10m high gilded statue of Lord Buddha and several other sculptures, thangkas and priceless manuscripts of Buddhism. Its worth to visit a craft centre producing woolen carpets. Overnight will be at Tawang.

Day 18 Tawang – Dirang
After breakfast get ready to cross the Sela Pass. Enjoy a visit to the Yak breeding farm at Dirang Valley and Apple Orchard. Also visit Kalachakra Gumpha and holy Hot Spring. Overnight will be in Dirang.

Day 19 Dirang – Bomdila
Visit Old Dirang village of the Buddhist monpa tribes and Monastery. Later drive to Bomdila. Overnight will be at the hotel.

Agnigarh park, Tezpur Vacation PackageDay 20 Bomdila – Tezpur 210kms / 6hrs
After breakfast drive to Tezpur en-route visiting the Orchid Center at Tipi displaying some of the finest species. It houses over 7500 orchids. Have Lunch break at Tipi. Continue drive to Tezpur. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay. In the evening proceed for a city sightseeing tour of Tezpur which is situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra with a magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archeological ruins is the head quarter of Sonitpur District. Overnight will be in Tezpur.

Day 21 Tezpur – Home
In time transfer to airport to catch your flight back home.
